In order to expedite our listing process and minimize mistakes we use photography to show our items' details and we include item specifics in the listing photos. Ring Listings:
It is sometimes difficult to determine how a ring will fit without being able to try it on. I always recommend taking your favorite ring to a local jeweler and comparing the way that it sits on a mandrel (ring sizer) with the pictures in the listings prior to purchase. Sometimes wide band rings fit a little differently and I always want my customers to be 100% happy with their purchases! Please let me know if I can help by offering more pictures for size comparison.

To Reserve an item:
I offer reserves! If you are interested in an item and would like me to hold it for you for purchase at a later date, please feel free to send a message and let me know. I am happy to hold items for one week.

Gemstones:
We carefully examine every gemstone under 10× magnification and compare its color and characteristics to what's typical for that stone type. We also use a Presidium gem tester to verify our assessment. While this allows us to confidently identify the type of gemstone, please note that the Presidium tester does not distinguish between earth-mined and lab-grown stones. Because GIA certification is very expensive, it's not something we offer with our sterling silver vintage pieces. We always do our best to accurately identify every stone so you can shop with confidence.

PEARL ITEMS:
As the nature of testing Pearl is a potentially damaging one, a scratch test, we have priced this item based on the value in its design rather than that of any perceived value in the gemstone as it may very well be a manmade Pearl rather than one created in nature.

Vintage Style:
In order to preserve the original vintage or antique integrity of my jewelry and collectible items, I do not polish them. Most items can be polished by a professional jeweler in order to achieve a brilliant shine, but many customers prefer the original luster of an unpolished piece. 
*Example: Most jewelers charge between $5-25 for Clean & Polish of a vintage sterling silver ring, but some will offer this as a complimentary service to customers. 
My cleaning process is simply using warm water and liquid dish soap to disinfect.
